New Macan launched online

German sports car maker Porsche launched the new Macan online on Wednesday in three variants at suggested prices ranging from 554,000 yuan ($85,427) to 848,000 yuan. More than 200 personalized options can be configured for the model, which has abundant online functions and a driving assistance system.

The Macan, Macan S and Macan GTS can accelerate from1-100 kilometers per hour in 6.4, 4.8 and 4.5 seconds, respectively. The base model is equipped with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine and the other two variants are fitted with 2.9-liter V6 twin-turbocharged engines.

Since the Macan hit the market in 2014, more than 600,000 have been sold worldwide.

The model will be showcased at the upcoming Chengdu auto show.
