Wuxi government sends thank-you letter to enterprises

Local enterprises involved in key industries and service industries, as well as foreign-funded enterprises received a letter of thanks from the local government starting Aug 6 for their long-term support on the city's economic development.

Officials said that the short thank you letter shows the appreciation and trust between the local government and enterprises in trying to achieve mutually beneficial results. The letter also reiterated the government's determination and measures implemented to further bolster the business environment of Wuxi.

Liu Jun, chairman of Wuxi Unicomp Technology Co, said that it is the first time for him to receive such letter, which reminded him of the history of the company.

Liu said that the company was first established in Shenzhen working on X-ray research and development, as well as production in the field of industrial non-destructive testing. Attracted by Wuxi's good business environment, they gradually moved the company headquarters to Wuxi's Xinwu district, which also provided better industrial supporting conditions.

"We are thankful to the local government of Wuxi for providing help and guidance at every important development step of the company," said Liu.

Wuxi Unicomp Technology Co made breakthroughs in the development of key X-ray components and radiography core technology by the end of 2020. In the first half of this year, the company's operating performance increased by more than 300 percent year-on-year to reach a record high.
