Hechi's foreign trade exports growth ranks first in Guangxi

In the first half of 2021, the total value of Hechi's foreign trade imports and exports was 3.26 billion yuan ($503 million), of which exports were 1.22 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.9 times, and the exports growth rate ranked first in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

In the first half of the year, the city newly added 17 foreign trade enterprises, and the number of enterprises with actual import and export performance reached 40.

In order to expand exports, the city promotes the policies of the ASEAN Free Trade Area to enterprises, and has helped enterprises to tap market potential and improve products value.

In addition, the city has built export-oriented industrial parks, and focused on the development of five industrial parks, such as Hechi Industrial Park, Guangxi Yizhou Economic Development Zone and Hechi Nandan Nonferrous Metal New Material Industrial Park. From January to June, the output value of export-oriented industrial parks reached 16.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 25.94 percent.

Thanks to the reform of the open system, Hechi's foreign economy has developed rapidly. In the future, Hechi will integrate policies, resources, and strengths to promote the reform measures, optimize resource allocation, and create a pioneering demonstration zone for reforms in the entire region.
