Electric car marque Ora started presales of its Haomao GT Mulan version on Friday.
The model, with its distinctive styling, has a starting presale price of 138,000 yuan ($21,238). It will hit the market at the Chengdu Motor Show on Aug 29.
It is named after Mulan, an ancient Chinese heroine, to appeal to daring and independent women drivers, said the carmaker.
The Mulan version sports an electric motor that generates a top output of 126 kW and a top torque of 210 Nm.
It has a driving range of 480 kilometers on one charge. And it can get charged from 30 percent to 80 percent in 30 minutes.
Thanks to its low air drag, the Mulan version has a top speed of 160 km/ hour and accelerates from zero to 100 km/hour in 6.9 seconds.
Besides, the model features advanced driving-assist functions.
