During the first half of this year, Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province added 1,018 market entities with a total registered capital of 35.12 billion yuan ($5.42 billion), bringing the total number of market entities to 23,178 and registered capital to 544.4 billion yuan.
In recent years, Guian has committed to optimizing its business environment and improving services for enterprises so as to encourage market entities to innovate and start businesses.
Guian is also pushing forward with the reform of the electronic business license registration system. More than 20 administrative licensing affairs involving quality, food and drug supervision departments can be applied online.
Guian's market supervision bureau has promised that applicants will only need to fill out application materials once when registering enterprises, and the materials will be viewed within one work day to reduce registration costs.
In addition, Guian has enhanced the separation of operating permits and business licenses to alleviate difficulties in applying for permits and licenses. Enterprises can also be easily cancelled online.
In the future, Guian will continue promoting the separation of operating permits and business licenses, apply electronic business licenses in more areas, and reduce costs for enterprises and individuals applying for administrative licensing affairs.
