Luoyang, a modern metropolis located in Central China’s Henan province, is renowned as one of the six ancient capitals of the country.

In 2020, Luoyang’s GDP hit 512.84 billion yuan ($78.87 billion), ranking first among the non-provincial capital cities in the central and western regions.

The total value of imports and exports of goods in 2020 reached 19.31 billion yuan, up 24.9 percent year on year.

The year 2020 witnessed the registration of 29 enterprises with foreign direct investment in Luoyang. The city’s foreign direct investment reached $3.1 billion in 2020, up 6.4 percent year on year.
