Jilin province boasts rich Chinese medicine resources and has been promoting the integration of Chinese medicine in healthcare, research, education, and cultural tourism.
The province is currently accelerating its internationalization of Chinese medicine and the healthcare industry, with the aim of playing a positive role in the Belt and Road Initiative.
Jilin will build a distribution center for specialty medicinal materials in the Changbai Mountains and a standardized production base for medicinal materials in North China, forming a complete industrial chain and controllable Chinese medicine industry development system.
It will carry out research on key technologies in the entire production process of Chinese medicinal products, and strengthen the collaborative innovation of industry, university, research, and medical application.
