China's non-financial outbound direct investment declined 4 percent year-on-year to 406.52 billion yuan in the first seven months of this year, the Ministry of Commerce announced on Thursday.
In US dollar terms, the country's ODI went up 4.2 percent to $62.81 billion.
In the meantime, the country's ODI in economies participating in the Belt and Road Initiative rose 9.9 percent on a yearly basis to $11.29 billion, accounting for 18 percent of total ODI during the seven-month period.
