Guangdong opens vocational skills competition

The second Guangdong Vocational Skills Competition, sponsored by the provincial government, kicked off on Monday in Zhanjiang city, and will last until early December.

The 141 competition items cover fields including advanced manufacturing, strategic emerging industries, as well as the modern service industries.

More than 60 departments, industry associations, and leading enterprises have cooperated in the organization and implementation of the event, which is one of the largest and most influential vocational contests in the province.
