The China (Pingyao) Supervision Culture Museum is located on Xiaochayuan Street in the Ancient City of Pingyao in Pingyao county, North China's Shanxi province.
In the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), it served as the government office of officials in charge of the discipline of public functionaries and imperial ministers who came to Pingyao to perform official duties.
Today, it is the largest and most-well preserved and has the most complete existing regulations of any such structure in China.
The museum mainly displays historical information on the ancient Chinese supervision system, important laws and exemplary cases of the ancient supervision system, and stories, cases, and cultural relics related to ancient officials in charge of the discipline of public functionaries.
