Hechi grosses industrial achievements in H1

As of the end of June, the city of Hechi's total above designated size industrial output value was 27.66 billion yuan ($4.27 billion), a year-on-year increase of 32.4 percent, and two percentage points higher than the average level of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, according to the Hechi municipal bureau of industry and information technology.

Since the beginning of this year, Hechi has focused on stable industrial growth, and has taken measures to promote the development of key industries and enterprises in all counties and districts.

The city actively promotes the construction of factory buildings and infrastructure projects in its industrial parks. In the first half of the year, it gathered 325 million yuan of investments for industrial parks infrastructure, and obtained 1.12 billion yuan of special loans to support the construction of industrial parks.

Hechi selected 66 commissioners to provide service guidance to key enterprises and projects above the designated size, and solved  important construction issues. In the first half of this year, the city coordinated and solved 19 problems with enterprises. In addition, the city has launched investment promotion activities and successfully introduced six enterprises to settle in the city, adding new momentum to the city's industrial development.

Hechi's next steps will consist of continuing stable operations and services in key industries such as the non-ferrous metal industry, cocoon silk enterprises, and liquor industries, and promoting the development of major projects and newly-built enterprises in the city.
