Ninghai landscaping along the Huangyang River east bank is less than two months from opening as a civil space for sightseeing, leisure, parent-child entertainment, and cultural experiences.
Located at the core area of the Ninghai Century City Residential Community in Doumen district, the project is 80 percent complete. It spans 1 kilometer and encompasses 40,000 square meters north of the Jing'an Bridge, and southwest of Second Lianxing Road. A continuous green open space is being formed along with the northern area of Lianqiao Road.
A newly added section draws inspiration from "mountain" and "sea waves", and comprises a lawn theater, wooden slide, and fishing boat-shaped City Balcony to reflect the local fishery culture.
Visitors can view Huangyang Mt from the 4.5-meter City Balcony, walk to a sightseeing platform via an elevated boardwalk, or spend time at the book and drink bars and rest station there.
In addition, large buildings along the existing section are being retained, while green space of the parks is improved. In addition to road and square paving, the parks are getting flowering trees, floral landscape installations, statues, benches, and refreshed lawn and ground coverings. The coastal boardwalk will have flowering trees.
As of now, trees have been planted, the major structure of the café bay windows is completed, and furnishing of the stairs and café is underway, according to Liu Wenji, engineer with Zhuhai Huahao Development & Construction.
