Hechi's air quality ranks 3rd in Guangxi

Hechi's urban ambient air quality ranked third in Guangxi in the first half of 2021, according to the rankings from Guangxi's urban ambient air quality from January to June this year, which was announced by the Department of Ecology and Environment of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on July 29.

The cities of Beihai, Fangchenggang and Hechi ranked in the top three respectively. The percentage of days with good ambient air quality in the 14 prefecture-level cities in the region was 92.9 percent, a year-on-year decrease of 5.1 percent. The  comprehensive index ambient air quality was 3.38, a year-on-year increase of 13.8 percent.

In terms of county-level city ambient air quality, the percentage of days with good ambient air quality in 75 county-level cities in Guangxi was 95 percent from January to June this year, a year-on-year decrease of 3.6 percent. The comprehensive index of ambient air quality was 3.03, a year-on-year increase of 10.2 percent.

The air quality of Hechi's Fengshan county ranked sixth among the whole region's county-level cities in the first half of this year.
