Big health, digital economy boom in Bama

With the construction of the China -ASEAN (Bama) Big Data Cloud Computing Base, 5G+ future laboratory and the Huawei smart wearable base, the big health and digital economy industries have boomed in Bama Yao autonomous region.

Bama has closely abided by three main strategies of Bama International Longevity Health Tourism Resort, the Guangxi Big Health Industry Leading Base, and the Shenzhen-Bama Big Health Cooperation Special Pilot Zone. The strategies are composed of continuously improving the level of opening up and cooperation, optimizing the business environment, and actively building a new pattern for the big health industry.

In addition, the in-depth integration of culture, tourism, health and wellness projects like Bama Cifu Lake International Longevity Health Resort, Bama Dongtianfudi Scenic Spot, Bama High-End Healthcare Complex Project and Guangxi Overseas Chinese City Bama Health Cultural Tourism Project have been steadily advanced, and a new pattern of global tourism development in Bama has gradually taken shape.

In the first half of 2021, the start rate of major projects in the autonomous region and municipal levels in Bama was 80 percent, with a total investment of 1.23 billion yuan ($190.3 million). There were 1,375 registered market entities, a year-on-year increase of 6.84 percent. Enterprises can deal with the affairs such as business establishment and real estate registration through the one-stop service.

Standing at the new starting point of the 14th Five-year Plan (2021-25), Bama has entered a new stage of high-quality development.
