Trollflowers light up grasslands of Xanadu

Located in the Zhenglan Banner of Xiliingol Gol League, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the grasslands of the Xanadu Site are dotted with bunches of trollflowers, transforming it into the "Trollflower Plain".

Xanadu was the capital of China's Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) founded by Kublai Khan (r.1260-94), and the site was added to the World Heritage List in 2012.
