A cultural festival featuring music performances, art exhibitions, roadshows, flash mobs and markets full of domestic brands and products that incorporate Chinese traditional style and culture will be launched in Hunan province's Changsha city on July 30.
The nine-day event, held by the video-streaming platform Mango TV, aims to attract a large group of its online users to participate in the offline activities. During the event, cosplay shows, Huaguxi Opera (flower-drum opera) performances and colorful light shows will be staged on Denglong street, a time-honored alley with antique touch situated at the downtown area of Changsha.
Hanfu, or the traditional garments of Han people, art installations, skateboards, pets, merchandising of hit movies or pop stars and other stuff that young hipsters might fancy will be displayed at a 22,000-square-meter entertainment zone built by Mango TV.
Apart from that, pop singer Li Sidanni, singer-songwriter Mao Buyi, rapper Zhou Yan and other performers will stage gigs from July 30 to 31.
