A male Asian elephant that strayed from its wild herd was returned to Xishuangbanna National Nature Reserve in southwestern China's Yunnan province on Wednesday afternoon.
It was in good physical condition according to a check by experts and veterinarians from the reserve.
The elephant then went foraging in the local forests and bathing in a river.
The other 14 are still safely roaming in Xinping county, according to the command office in charge of monitoring their movement.
