The China Horse Town reopened to the public on July 1 after upgrading its tourist experiences for six months.
The town offers five new theaters and visitors can enjoy performance featuring Silk Road and horse elements.
Gourmet food, such as roast lamb, and distinctive hotels are also available.
The resort sits in Fengning Manchu autonomous county in Hebei province and is an ideal getaway to beat the summer heat. The place, one of the closest to Beijing, was built against the backdrop of vast grassland.
It has recreated scenes from the Three Kingdoms period (222-280) and revolves around horse culture.
