The China-Mongolia cultural exchange activities were officially launched on Jun 30 to promote understanding of the people of Mongolia on the Communist Party of China (CPC) and China, and enhance traditional friendships.
These activities, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, will last until the end of this year.
This year's activities will include art and cultural performances, exhibitions, book exchanges and screenings of TV dramas, films, documentaries and cartoons.
Selected TV dramas and documentaries will be screened on Mongolia's major TV channels, which are the primary broadcasting platforms, and other activities will be held online.
Special columns will also be published on CRI Online, a key central news website in China, and Solongo News Network, China's first Mongolian news website, to promote the exchange activities.
The activities are sponsored by China State Council Information Office, the Culture Ministry of Mongolia, the government of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the Chinese embassy in Mongolia, and the Mongolian Journalists Association.
