To know Shenyang is to love it, with China Daily's help

Expats from around a dozen countries gathered on Tuesday to discuss how to promote the city of Shenyang via China Daily.

June 1 marks the 40th anniversary of the founding of China Daily. Over those decades, it has played an important role in telling China's story well and presenting a multidimensional, panoramic view of the country.

Erich Kaiserseder of Austria is an experienced and enthusiastic hotel manager. He has lived in Shenyang for three years. He is general manager of Conrad Shenyang.

"China Daily is a very important information platform for me to know about what happens here. I can see that the paper has many resources to promote Shenyang and Liaoning to the world through excellent reports, so that more international readers will know and love the city," he said.
