The Huaxia Tianyi Bilingual School in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, signed a cooperation agreement with Uni-Italia to establish a professional platform for senior high school graduates studying in Italy on June 24.
The cooperation with Uni-Italia, a center for the academic promotion and orientation of study in Italy, will promote Italian language training in China, which will lay a solid foundation for their higher education in Italy, said Roberto Pagani, science and technology counselor at the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai.
"We are trying an innovative educational cooperation model to cultivate talents in diverse areas like engineering, architecture, cultural heritage, and restoration of cultural relics," said Xing Jianjun, head of Uni-Italia China Offices.
The cooperation will contribute to the cultivation of high-quality talents in fields like architectural design as well as boost communication and cooperation in science and education with Italy, said Pan Quansheng, chairman of the school.
Located in Xishan district, the Huaxia Tianyi Bilingual School is an international bilingual school for students ranging from kindergarten to high school. Its senior high school will welcome the first batch of students in September.
