In its fourth edition this year, the festival launched to boost local tourism and property will run until Oct 31.
Staged in an abandoned factory covering an area of 3,500 square meters in a historic town in Dali, the show experimentally blends architecture, music, drama and game to tell a dystopian sci-fi tale.
Set in 2099, it examines the relationship between human beings and robots, wishing to generate young audience's thoughts about the boundary between science and moral.
Besides, some interesting artistic facilities, such as a "hospital" specializing in dealing with different emotions and a "canteen" serving nostalgia, have been created at the venue.
