Farewell ceremony for international students successfully held at ECNU

On June 18, 2021, a farewell ceremony for international students at East China Normal University (ECNU) was held in the Yifu Building on Zhongbei campus. More than 100 graduates participated in the ceremony, and the students who could not return to school also shared the bittersweet joy of graduation with their classmates via an online Zoom meeting.

Yan Dexue, associate professor from ECNU's School of Advanced International and Area Studies, wished the graduates all the best and gave "colorful rope" as a graduation gift to all students, symbolizing good health and blessings.

Graduate representatives expressed their thanks to the school and teachers and wished all their fellow graduates a bright future. Other graduates also passed on their best wishes.

Huang Meixu, director of the Global Education Center and Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of International Chinese Studies, delivered his warmest graduation wishes, and also expressed his most sincere regret that all the students who are currently abroad couldn't be there.

The Global Education Center also prepared graduation gifts with ECNU shoes, flowers and greetings cards with all teachers' signatures.
