The 10th All in Caravaning, China's largest exhibition of caravans and mobile homes, was recently held at Beijing Etrong International Exhibition and Convention Center.
Over 200 exhibitors from home and abroad demonstrated products including caravans and mobile homes, caravan accessories and campsites.
One of the major exhibitors was China Tourism Group. Its exhibition included some well-designed road trip routes for tourists to explore the rich ethnic cultures across China and boost the country's rural tourism such as a drive from Lanzhou to Linxia Hui autonomous prefecture in Gansu province. The group also organizes road trips to promote these themed routes.
The group unveiled a new road trip mobile app during the exhibition, which offers professional one-stop travel service based on artificial intelligence algorithms.
Visitors can use it during the whole road trip to get recommendations on driving routes, restaurants, accommodation and shopping, in accordance with their various demands. They can also make different bookings including scenic areas and share their travel notes with others via the app.
The domestic tourism market has been recovering in spite of the impact of the outbreak of COVID-19 in China in early 2020. More Chinese tourists are interested in camping and recreational vehicles due to the privacy, comfort and convenience.
