A conference to award famed brands in Yantai, a coastal city in East China's Shandong province, was held on June 19.
Hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Yantai Municipal Committee, the event provided an overview of the development of the city's renowned brands.
The Yantai government has attached great importance to the cultivation of the city's brands and released a series of measures to promote their competitiveness, said Yu Yongxin, director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Yantai Municipal Committee.
Twenty companies with a combined brand value of over 138.74 billion yuan ($21.45 billion) made the China Brand Value Information Release List 2021.
A large number of well-known brands and companies in the city such as Wanhua Chemical Group, Changyu Wine, CIMC and Linglong Tire are famous in both China and international markets.
