SAIC GM Buick launched the all-new Envision Plus on Saturday in Yintai, Shandong province.
The carmaker is offering five variants of the midsized SUV, including two luxury Avenir models, at suggested prices ranging from 229,900 yuan to 309,900 yuan ($35,635-48,035).
The Envision Plus has a class-leading 2,833-millimeter-wheelbase and is as long as 4,845 mm. The model offers five- and seven-seat variants with the trunk volume increased to 1,712 liters.
With an eighth-generation Ecotec 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, the SUV has a maximum output of 174 kilowatts and a top torque of 350 Newton meters. It also features 48-volt mild hybrid technology and a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Equipped with GM’s Vehicle Intelligence Platform, a digital platform known as the central nervous system of a vehicle that connects, powers and controls nearly every component, the model allows over-the-air software updates and is equipped with aviation-level network security.
Since the model launched in 2014, it has delivered more than 1 million vehicles in China.
