CAS physicist outlines quantum communication progress to USTC audience

Pan Jianwei, a leading Chinese quantum physicist and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), delivered a speech to the Science and Culture Salon at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) on June 17. In the 90-minute talk, themed on "The New Quantum Revolution", he outlined to the audience the country's recent advancement in quantum communication and computing, as well as his team's major short and long-term goals. The Science Communication Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences organized the salon, which will be followed by more of the kind.
