Yantai headquarters economy base sees robust development

The Yantai headquarter economy base has been making efforts to attract research institutes, promote cooperation with universities, and accelerate the application of research results to fuel the city’s high-quality development.

The base has introduced scientific research centers and institutions related to nuclear power research and development, intellectual property rights protection, aerospace power, and rectification engineering design and research to cultivate science and innovation economic clusters.

The headquarters base currently has four national high-tech enterprises. Enterprises in the park have applied for more than 160 patents and copyrights.

In 2020, the total operating income of enterprises in the base was nearly 600 million yuan ($94.01 million), while tax payments reached more than 30 million yuan.

To further development, the headquarter economy base will focus on revitalizing the county economy and promoting digital economy industries.
