The Department of Commerce of Fujian province held a series of investment promotion activities in the provincial capital Fuzhou for Japanese-funded enterprises from June 10 to 11.
A delegation consisting of representatives of 22 Japanese-funded enterprises and organizations took part in the activities, to discuss 16 economic and trade cooperation projects, involving the biopharmaceutical, health care, cold chain logistics, hydrogen energy, and semiconductors industries with more than 70 Fujian-based enterprises and industrial parks.
The Department of Commerce of Fujian province detailed the province’s investment promotion policies at a conference, while commerce bureaus of Fuzhou, Xiamen, as well as Quanzhou promoted their city’s investment environment and key investment projects.
Agreements on five economic and trade cooperation projects, including those involving bio-medicine and elderly care, were signed.

The delegation also visited Huawei Group, Fujian Medical University, Fuzhou high-tech zone to seek cooperation opportunities.
