June 11: Daily briefing on novel coronavirus cases in China

On June 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 22 new cases of confirmed infections (13 imported cases, 3 in Fujian province, 2 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Guangdong province, 2 in Sichuan province, 1 in Beijing municipality, 1 in Jiangsu province, 1 in Zhejiang province and 1 in Yunnan province; 9 indigenous cases in Guangdong), 9 new cases of suspected infections (all were imported cases in Shanghai), and no deaths. 12 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 706 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases remained unchanged.
As of 24:00 on June 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 6,201 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 5,913 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 288 confirmed cases (including 1 case in serious condition) and 10 suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on June 10, the National Health Commission had received reports of 91,359 confirmed cases and 4,636 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 86,297 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 426 confirmed cases (including 12 cases in serious condition) and 10 suspected cases. 1,035,600 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 11,028 were still under medical observation.
On June 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 25 new asymptomatic cases (24 imported cases; 1 indigenous case in Zhejiang). 13 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (all were imported cases) and 4 (imported cases) became confirmed cases. As of 24:00 on June 10, 379 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 358 imported cases).
As of 24:00 on June 10, 24,148 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 11,874 in Hong Kong (210 had died and 11,590 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 52 in Macao (51 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 12,222 in Taiwan (361 had died and 1,133 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
