SAIC Motor’s MG unveiled the third-generation MG6, called MG Pro, on Wednesday, with sporty features expected to attract a younger following.
Adopting its sporty design language, the coupe has a sharp exterior look with elements that show the brand’s understanding of sportiness and the young.
Among other things, its logo has been moved from the grille upward to the hood, as a symbol of sports cars.
The distinctive design thanks to its sports car genes, coupled with the bright orange color, makes the model a head-turner on the streets.
The model features the bold, five-spoke wheels, and red brake calipers further attenuate its sportiness.
Inside the model, the sporty seats, the three-spoke driving wheel and the 10.1-inch display deliver a fresh feel of technology and sportiness as a vehicle for the young.
In terms of performance, the model sports a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, generating a top output of 181 kW and a maximum torque of 285 Nm.
Thanks to its efforts to stay young and sporty, MG is gaining in popularity. Last month, its sales stood at 41,351 units, up 167.3 percent year-on-year. In the first five months, its global deliveries totaled nearly 190,000 units.
