Sino-Japanese carmaker FAW-Toyota launched the hybrid version of its Izoa crossover on June 6.
The model, sporting the 2.0-liter hybrid powertrain developed based on the TNGA platform, now boasts better performance and fuel efficiency.
The hybrid Izoa, thanks to its new hybrid powertrain, has a maximum output of 135 kW and it consumes 4.5 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers.
It has the diamond design philosophy and features the 17-inch alloy wheels. The model is available in up to 13 colors.
In terms of safety, advanced driving assist functions come as standard, including the pre-collision warning and the dynamic radar-controlled cruise.
The upgraded gasoline Izoa was unveiled at the same event. It is equipped with a 2.0-liter engine and a 10-speed gearbox. The vehicle has a top torque of 203 Nm and a maximum output of 126 kW.
The model is now available in gasoline, hybrid and electric powertrains. FAW-Toyota has been one of the leading companies in terms of hybrid models.
Since the first model, a Pirus, was introduced in 2005, cumulative sales of hybrid vehicles at the joint venture exceed 420,000 units.
