The first high-level professional auto sport center by Chinese vehicle makers was unveiled on Tuesday in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province.
The center, owned by Geely's premium brand Lynk & Co, is situated in the Ningbo International Circuit, which has the most bends in China.
The center is expected to connect its customers and help them to experience auto sport, which Lynk & Co said is essential to build a competitive auto industry.
Besides showcasing Lynk & Co vehicles, the 6,191-square meter facility offers fans opportunities to experience racing cars and receive training from Lynk & Co team drivers.
On the same day, Lynk & Co launched its 02 Hatchback. Priced at 176,800 yuan, it is the first sporty hatchback from Chinese vehicle brands.
The model sports a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, which generates a top output of 187 kW and a top torque of 350 Nm.
It accelerates from zero to 100 kilometers in 6.2 seconds and decelerates from 100 km to zero in 34 meters.
Lynk & Co, a brand by Geely and Volvo, was unveiled in October 2016. Its cumulative deliveries have exceeded 500,000.
