Yantai to host East Asia food expo in June

The 16th East Asia International Food Trade Exposition will be held at Yantai International Exposition Center from June 4 to 7.

The expo aims to promote exchanges and cooperation in the food industry under China's dual-circulation development pattern, as well as further accelerate the high-quality development of Yantai's food industry.

Since 2004, the expo has been held for 15 years and has become an important cooperation platform for food industry enterprises in East Asia.

This year's event has 10 special areas covering aquatic products, fruit and vegetable products, grain and oil products, spices, as well as food packaging and processing equipment.

Nearly 2,000 enterprises from East Asian countries and China are expected to attend this year's expo.

A series of events, including a promotional conference, a purchasing meeting, a trade negotiation conference, and an on-site tasting activity, will also be held during the expo.
