Tourist attractions from Yichang, Enshi, Xianning and Yichang promoted their natural scenery and cultural highlights to Beijing residents.
The Hubei and Beijing culture and tourism authorities signed a cooperation agreement at the tourism promotion event, which covers sustainable culture and tourism development, exchange and marketing.
Beijing is one of the stops for an extensive tourism promotion campaign launched by Hubei, as the local tourism industry has recovered from the COVID-19.
Hubei received 43.2 million tourist visits during the Labor Day holiday from May 1 to 5, up 13.5 percent compared with the same period in 2019.
