"China's carbon neutrality pledges will represent a major change. Different companies could find great opportunities for contributing to this transformation and catch business shares," said Guido Giacconi, co-founder and chairman of In3act Group, an Italian business strategy consulting and advisory company in China.
As the former National Chair of European Union Chamber of Commerce in China Energy Working Group, Guido has rich strategy consulting experience in the area of environmental protection.
Guido said he believes the country will see a dramatic change in economic models and individual lives as it is endeavoring to peak its carbon emissions by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.
Guido also noted that carbon neutrality development should be based on the analysis of small cities.
