Jinan starts COVID-19 vaccination service for expats

Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, recently launched a COVID-19 vaccination service for expats living in the city.

The Jinan municipal foreign affairs office provided relevant information materials in seven languages for foreigners who come for vaccinations, such as the Informed Consent to Receive COVID-19 Vaccination.

The Jinan Center for Disease Control and Prevention has opened online service hotlines for expats to answer relevant questions.

The epidemic prevention and control team from the Shandong government made an inspection tour in Jinan for the COVID-19 vaccination of foreign residents on April 29.

Officials from the team communicated with foreign teachers and overseas students at the vaccination site at Jinan University, inquiring their willingness to get vaccinated and understanding of the vaccination policy.

Most of the foreign people, especially the overseas students in Jinan, are willing to get vaccinated since they have full confidence in the vaccinations made in China.

The investigation team affirmed efforts by the Jinan government to encourage more foreign nationals to get vaccinated in the city.

More foreign nationals based in Jinan will get vaccinated in the future, according to the local government.
