Wey's latest SUV model, Latte, made its debut at the Shanghai auto show, joining the family of models named after coffee drinks.
The model, with comfort as its major feature, is the brand's first 1.5-liter DHT hybrid model, mainly tailor-made for urban use.
The model has a maximum output of 175 kW and a top torque of 530 Nm.
The Latte accelerates from zero to 100 km in 7.5 seconds and consumes 4.9 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers.
Its smart functions are another highlight in addition to its power performance. For example, it can park itself without anyone in the vehicle.
Wey did not announce the prices of the model, which is the third in the coffee family.
The others are Mocha and Macchiato, whose signature features are autonomous driving and hybrid technology respectively.
