BEIJING - China's civil aviation sector has recovered to the pre-epidemic level in March, said an industry report.
Last month, the average daily number of flights in the country reached 12,451, around 250 percent that of the same period a year ago, according to a report released by VariFlight, a China-based civil-aviation data service provider.
The country has handled a total of 389,600 departure flights in March, up 140.91 percent year-on-year.
Chinese airports have seen the total number of operations, including takeoffs and landings, jump 69 percent month-on-month to 820,000 in March, nearly the same level before the COVID-19 epidemic.
In terms of the passenger load factor, it has reached 73.2 percent per day, 11.84 percent higher than the average level in February, said the report.
