BEIJING brand of BAIC Group unveiled its powertrain roadmap on Monday, which covers gasoline, hybrid and electric solutions.
Its SUPER platform, reserved for gasoline vehicles, will feature the 1.5-liter turbocharged engine.
The HEV platform enables a maximum output of 160 kW, and the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers stand at 4.1 liters.
There are already vehicles built on its EV platform, including the BEIJING-EU5 and the BEIJING-EU7.
The carmaker said it will launch vehicles that can run for 1,000 kilometers on one charge and boast a top output of 800 kW.
It is providing smart cabin functions, connectivity and autonomous driving.
Its vehicles are expected to feature Level 3 functions at speeds from zero to 120 kilometers per hour.
BEIJING also outlined its product plans, starting with the U5 PLUS and the U7 PLUS.
It has kicked off pre-sales of the two sedans.
They will be followed by the X5 PLUS and the X7 PLUS models, which feature the augmented-reality head-up displays and Level 2.5 autonomous driving functions.
Then there will be the new BEIJING-X3, which will be empowered by Huawei’s Harmony operating system.
More advanced models will come out from 2023, said the carmaker.
