A Haval H6 from China's Great Wall Motors made its way into Beijing Auto Museum on Friday, as a sign that marks the development of the Chinese auto industry.
The vehicle was the 10 millionth Haval H6, a model that has been the best-selling SUV in the country for years in a row.
"We believe the model is of significance for both us and the auto museum, where visitors from around the world can experience the achievement of Chinese auto brands," said the carmaker as it donated the vehicle to the museum.
As a classic model of the Haval brand, it helps Great Wall Motors to consolidate its position as the largest SUV maker in the country.
The Haval brand has seen its accumulated sales to reach 6.5 million globally. It has been the most popular SUV brand in the country for 11 years in a row.
Besides the Haval brand, Great Wall Motors has Wey, Ora as well as pickup brands. Combined sales of the Wey-brand SUVs total 400,000. Wey, as a premium brand, was established in late 2016.
