More people are flocking to Jinggang Mountains, known as the "cradle of the Chinese revolution", in Jiangxi province for learning the history of the Communist Party of China, as the Party's 100th anniversary approaches.
As this year's tourist season is just starting, more tourists are expected to come to the place, Jiao Xuejun, mayor of the city, said at a news conference on April 8 held for a group of overseas and domestic reporters in a tour to the city to learn about the history of the CPC.
Jinggang Mountains is the birthplace of the Red Army -- the predecessor of the People's Liberation Army -- and the home of the CPC's first rural revolutionary base in the province.
