Serious cases decreased by 1.

There still remained 248 confirmed cases (including 1 case in serious condition) and 1 suspected case. 994,598 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 7,550 were still under medical observation.

As of 24:00 on April 6, 12,629 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 11,531 in Hong Kong (205 had died and 11,155 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 48 in Macao (all had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 1,050 in Taiwan (10 had died and 1,004 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
