Tai'an in East China's Shandong province has welcomed six new foreign-funded projects, valued at $390 million in total.
Representatives of the six projects inked their agreements at a signing ceremony that was held via a video link on March 18, which comprised of several sessions in the prefecture-level cities in Shandong.
The projects include four high-end equipment manufacturing projects, one new energy industry project, and one modern agricultural project.
Japanese leading machinery manufacturing Komatsu plans to invest in an intelligent production project that can produce 60,000 sets of engineering machinery parts annually.
Officials said that the newly-signed projects will greatly promote the city's high-quality development, improve its foreign trade, and help it achieve the city's goals in the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25).
