Yantai Citizen Cultural Festival opens

The third Yantai Citizen Cultural Festival opened on March 28 in Yantai, a coastal city in East China's Shandong province. It includes a series of cultural activities to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

Ten major cultural events, covering cultural performances, exhibitions, and reciting activities, as well as intangible cultural heritage items, will be held to promote the history of the Party from March to September. Tourism routes themed around rural areas, marine resources, and local delicacies will be launched during the festival.

The festival is aimed at accentuating the city's rich culture and accelerating the high-quality development of its cultural and tourism services.
