SAIC Maxus launched its T90 pickup series on Wednesday, which ranks first in terms of top torque among Chinese competitors.
Featuring SAIC's Bi-Turbo diesel engine, the model has a top torque of 500 Nm and a maximum output of 160 kW.
The engine is coupled with a ZF 8-speed transmission and thus has a towing capacity of 3.5 tons. It has 12 driving modes.
The model has two dimensions. The standard one has a wheelbase of 3,155 mm, and measures 5,365 mm in length. And the extended one has a wheelbase of 3,470 mm and measures 5,680 in length.
As part of its customization strategy, the model has 18 variants to meet the demands of different customers.
The electric versions is available as well. Featuring CATL's batteries, the model has a range of 535 kilometers. In the fast charging mode, it can extend the driving range by 100 kilometers in 10 minutes.
In terms of safety, the model, both the electric or the ICE versions, has the Level 2 driving-assist functions, including lane keep and rear view imaging.
