The Changchun Advanced Equipment Manufacturing Expo opened on March 25 at Changchun International Conference and Exhibition Center in Changchun, the capital city of Northeast China's Jilin province.
The expo, which will run till March 27, is held following two years of preparation. It covers an exhibition area of 12,000 square meters.
It has attracted the participation of around 300 companies nationwide to showcase their most advanced technologies and equipment.
Among them, 186 are technological innovation enterprises that are engaged in fields such as numerically-controlled machine tools, power electronics, welding and cutting, power transmission, optoelectronics and automated robots, representing the most sophisticated technology of the new manufacturing industry.
During the three-day event, visitors can view technologies such as AR remote guidance, laser-tracking robots, 5G remote sensing, wireless communication and special aerospace materials made by 3D printers.
It is expected that more top companies in the advanced equipment manufacturing sector will invest in Jilin and drive development of the local manufacturing sector, according to a director of the organizing committee.
