Do you know Qingming Shanghe Tu (Life along the Bian River during the Pure Brightness Festival), one of the ten most famous Chinese paintings? It depicts prosperous Kaifeng city in Central China’s Henan province during the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127). As it is now in the collection of the Palace Museum in Beijing, the museum designed an electric lamp inspired by this national treasure.
