Desserts take center stage at hospitality and food services expo

Fondant cakes and chocolate deserts with Chinese cultural characteristics were displayed during the 2021 "Hairoad" World Baking Dessert and Cake Contest China Region Selection Competition on Monday.

Held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), the competition, along with the 2021 "Kenwood" CLW Patisserie Elite Competition, is part of the 30th Shanghai International Hospitality Equipment and Foodservice Expo, also known as HOTELEX, which will run until Thursday.

The competition featuring fondant cakes tabling, chocolate candy, pulled sugar shape and large mousse cakes will be held at the exhibition.
