Colombian Ambassador: China the engine of world trade growth

"China has always been, in the last decade, the engine of growth in export and trade around the world. As long as China continues to be open and to cooperate with other countries, it’s very good for the world," said Luis Diego Monsalve, Colombian Ambassador to China, in a recent interview with the China Daily website.

The ambassador thought highly of China's development in all aspects. He recalled his experience in China, and stressed that people who come every five or ten years will see a different China.

When talking about China's new development paradigm of "dual circulation", the ambassador noted that China was promoting its own development and also putting itself in line with external markets. He expects China be both a big market and an investor in other countries.
